THUNDER & LIGHTNING PICK UP SINGLES VICTORIES

The tag team of Thunder & Lightning were in action at AFTERMATH although they split up into singles matches. The move did not slow them down however as they both picked up singles wins. Thunder downed Ian Jordan in the opening match of the show despite Jordan’s domination throughout. Jordan jawed with the crowd the entire night, and it led to his downfall. As he seemed primed to put the match away, Jordan made the mistake of letting his arrogance come out as he tired to toy with Thunder. The plan backfired as Thunder rolled Jordan up for the surprising three-count. “I was cheated as he held my tights,” said Jordan. “I want s rematch!” Lightning had the most impressive win of the night as he defeated the Masked Express in 1:44. “I am just trying to pick up momentum and so is Thunder,” Lightning said. “Me and him are burning things up.”
