CWF
Heavyweight champion Kato and former two-time champion Zubov
have been allies for years, and their “strength in numbers”
concept helped each other pick up wins at AFTERMATH.
Zubov downed “the Solution”
Scott Fowler with help from Kato to pick up the huge win. As
Fowler climbed the ropes and the ref had his attention on
Zubov, Kato ran in from the locker room and crotched Fowler
on the top rope.
“I didn’t cheat,” Zubov said. “I did not use an illegal
object nor did I use the ropes. So quit complaining.”
“Kato always has something up his sleeve,” Fowler said. “I
will make sure I see him in the near future.”
Kato retained his CWF championship against Blade.
“Kato got the best of me tonight but I will get another
chance,” Blade said. “That is why I am in the CWF brother,
for a chance.”
It took help from Zubov, but Kato kept his undefeated streak
and CWF Heavyweight title reign in tact at AFTERMATH
following a low blow on Michael Blade.
“I am the greatest wrestler in the world,” Kato said. “And
there is no one alive who can beat me.”
After the match was over, Scott Fowler ran in to save Blade
and both Kato and Zubov hightailed it from the ring.
Commissioner LeGrande came to ringside and voiced his
displeasure about the constant interference throughout the
night.
“I have had enough of this,” proclaimed LeGrande. “When we
return here (Mon Valley YMCA) on Saturday, April 10, we are
going to have a tag team match pitting Kato and Zubov
against Fowler and Blade.”
LeGrande did not stop there.
“But with all due respect to Troy Davis and Ronnie Starks,
we need a special enforcing referee for this match, and I
can only think of one man who can handle it.
“Powerhouse Hughes.”
